INTRODUCTION
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ONE MAP - Never Ending Battle Royale (the "Game") and all related services provided by Appcano LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Appcano LLC," "we," "our," or "us").
The Game includes the video game software, all online features, servers, gameplay systems, virtual currency ("Coins"), virtual items, and any related content, features, or services we provide (collectively, the "Services").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Game or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our End User License Agreement ("EULA"), our Privacy Policy, and any additional rules or policies we publish, including any Rules of Conduct (collectively, the "Agreements").
If you do not agree to these Terms or any of the Agreements, you must not access or use the Game or Services.
Platform Terms
The Game is available across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Epic Games Store, Apple, and Android (each, a "Platform"). Your use of the Game is also subject to the applicable terms, policies, and requirements of the Platform you use.
You agree to comply with all applicable Platform terms. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a Platform’s mandatory terms, the Platform’s terms will control solely to the extent required.
Acceptance of Terms
You indicate your acceptance of these Terms by:
- Clicking "Accept" or a similar button;
- Downloading or installing the Game;
- Accessing or using the Game or Services.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.
Important Notice Regarding Disputes
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. THEY INCLUDE IMPORTANT PROVISIONS THAT AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
THESE TERMS INCLUDE A BINDING ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND A CLASS ACTION WAIVER IN YOUR EULA, WHICH REQUIRE YOU TO RESOLVE DISPUTES WITH APPCANO LLC ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN COURT OR AS PART OF A CLASS ACTION, EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Changes to Services
The Game is a live, online service. We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Game or Services at any time, with or without notice, as described in these Terms and the EULA.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS
1.1 Age Requirements
You must be at least thirteen (13) years old to access or use the Game or Services. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Game with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.
Appcano LLC reserves the right to restrict or terminate access if we believe you do not meet the eligibility requirements.
1.2 Platform Accounts
Access to the Game requires a valid account with a supported Platform (such as Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Epic Games, Apple, or Google) ("Platform Account").
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Platform Account;
- All activity conducted through your Platform Account is your responsibility;
- Appcano LLC does not control Platform Accounts and is not responsible for any loss, suspension, or compromise of such accounts.
1.3 Account Responsibility
You agree that:
- You will provide accurate and current information where required;
- You will not share, sell, or transfer access to your account;
- You are fully responsible for all actions taken using your account, whether or not authorized by you.
Appcano LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.
1.4 Usernames and Identity
Your username is derived from your Platform Account. However, Appcano LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
- Modify, replace, or assign a temporary username;
- Restrict or remove usernames that contain offensive, inappropriate, or prohibited language;
- Take enforcement action based on username violations.
You may not use a username that:
- Is offensive, abusive, or discriminatory;
- Impersonates another person, company, or entity;
- Violates any applicable law or third-party rights.
You acknowledge and agree that your username, gameplay statistics, rankings, progression, and related data may be visible to other users through publicly accessible leaderboards, matchmaking systems, in-game interfaces, or other features of the Game.
1.5 Prohibited Account Activities
You may not:
- Sell, rent, lease, share, or transfer accounts;
- Use another user’s account without permission;
- Create accounts for fraudulent or abusive purposes;
- Circumvent suspensions, bans, or restrictions by creating new accounts.
Violation of this Section may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Game.
1.6 Shared Devices and Access
You are responsible for any use of the Game on devices you own or control, including shared devices such as those used by family members or in public environments.
If you allow others to access the Game through your device or Platform Account, you are responsible for their actions.
1.7 Platform-Specific Accounts
Accounts are platform-specific and may be tied to the Platform Account through which the Game is accessed (such as Apple Game Center, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, Steam, Epic Games, or similar services).
Appcano LLC does not guarantee or support the transfer, merging, or synchronization of accounts, progression, Virtual Content, or data across different Platforms.
You acknowledge that progress, rankings, purchases, and other account-related data may not be accessible if you access the Game through a different Platform.
2. USE OF THE GAME AND SERVICES
2.1 Limited Right to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the EULA, and all applicable policies, Appcano LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Game and Services solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
This right is a license and not a transfer of ownership. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Appcano LLC and its licensors.
2.2 Personal Use Only
You may use the Game only for personal entertainment purposes. You may not:
- Use the Game or Services for commercial purposes without our prior written consent;
- Operate the Game in a commercial environment (such as gaming centers or paid access services);
- Exploit the Game or any part of it for monetary gain outside of permitted platform features.
2.3 Compliance with Agreements
Your use of the Game is conditioned on your compliance with:
- These Terms;
- The EULA;
- The Privacy Policy;
- Any Rules of Conduct or other policies we publish;
- Applicable Platform terms and conditions.
Violation of any of the above may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Game.
2.4 Service Access and Availability
The Game is an online service and requires an internet connection and a supported Platform.
- You are responsible for any internet access, data charges, or hardware required to access the Game;
- Access to the Game may vary depending on your device, location, or Platform;
- The Game may not be available in all regions.
2.5 No Guarantee of Availability
Appcano LLC does not guarantee that the Game or Services will be continuously available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
The Game may be:
- Temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues;
- Modified, restricted, or discontinued at any time;
- Affected by third-party services or Platform availability.
2.6 Updates, Patches, and Changes
Appcano LLC may deploy updates, patches, or modifications to the Game at any time, including automatically.
- You may be required to install updates to continue using the Game;
- Updates may change or remove features, gameplay elements, or content;
- Continued use of the Game after updates constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2.7 No Unauthorized Use
You may only use the Game in the manner intended by Appcano LLC. Any use beyond the intended scope of the Game or Services, as determined in our sole discretion, is prohibited.
2.8 Social Features
The Game may include social features such as friends lists, invitations, and cross-platform interactions.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You may send and receive friend requests and game invitations;
- Your username, online status, and gameplay activity may be visible to other users;
- Interactions may occur across different Platforms;
- Platform-specific social features (such as Xbox Live or PlayStation Network) may also apply.
Appcano LLC is not responsible for the operation or policies of third-party Platform social systems.
Certain social features may allow other users to join your gameplay sessions or interact with you without prior approval, subject to available settings and Platform functionality.
3. RULES OF CONDUCT
The Game is an online multiplayer environment. To maintain fairness, safety, and integrity, you agree to follow these Rules of Conduct at all times.
Violation of this Section may result in warnings, restrictions, suspension, or permanent bans, as described in Section 6.
3.1 General Conduct
You agree to use the Game in a respectful and lawful manner. You may not:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other players;
- Engage in hate speech, discrimination, or offensive behavior based on race, gender, nationality, or other protected characteristics;
- Use obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content;
- Impersonate any person, company, or entity;
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or negatively impacts other players’ experience.
3.2 Cheating and Unfair Advantage
You may not gain an unfair advantage or attempt to manipulate gameplay systems. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:
- Using cheats, hacks, bots, scripts, macros, or unauthorized third-party software;
- Using modified hardware or software that alters gameplay behavior;
- Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics;
- Manipulating matchmaking, rankings, or game outcomes;
- Coordinating with other players to gain an unfair advantage in ways not intended by the Game.
3.3 Unauthorized Software and Tools
You may not:
- Use or distribute software that intercepts, mines, or modifies game data;
- Reverse engineer or analyze game systems for exploitation purposes;
- Use automation tools that simulate gameplay or input;
- Develop or promote tools that provide unfair gameplay advantages.
3.4 Account and Access Abuse
You may not:
- Share, sell, or transfer accounts;
- Use another player’s account without permission;
- Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions or bans;
- Engage in boosting, farming, or account manipulation services.
3.5 In-Game Behavior and Fair Play
You agree to play fairly and within the intended design of the Game. You may not:
- Intentionally disrupt team gameplay or sabotage matches;
- Team with opponents or coordinate outside intended game mechanics;
- Stalk or repeatedly target players across matches;
- Intentionally lose, throw matches, or manipulate outcomes;
- Abuse game systems to negatively affect other players.
3.6 Usernames and Identity
You may not use usernames or identifiers that:
- Contain offensive, abusive, or inappropriate language;
- Promote hate, violence, or illegal activity;
- Impersonate others or mislead players;
- Violate intellectual property or legal rights.
Appcano LLC may modify or replace usernames that violate these rules.
3.7 Illegal and Harmful Activities
You may not use the Game or Services to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Promote or engage in illegal activities;
- Distribute harmful software such as viruses or malware;
- Collect or misuse personal information of other users.
3.8 Exploitation and Abuse of Systems
You may not:
- Exploit errors or bugs for personal gain;
- Circumvent security systems or protections;
- Interfere with servers, networks, or service stability;
- Attempt to access restricted areas or systems.
3.9 Communication and Content
If the Game includes communication features (such as text or future features), you agree not to:
- Send spam, advertisements, or unsolicited messages;
- Share inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content;
- Engage in harassment, threats, or abusive communication.
Appcano LLC reserves the right to monitor and take action on communications as permitted by law and described in the Privacy Policy.
3.10 Catch-All Clause
Any behavior not explicitly listed above that, in Appcano LLC’s sole discretion, negatively impacts the Game, Services, or other players may result in enforcement action.
4. VIRTUAL CURRENCY AND PURCHASES
The Game may include virtual currency ("Coins") and virtual items (such as skins, cosmetics, animations, or other digital content) (collectively, "Virtual Content"). Your use of Virtual Content is subject to the following terms.
4.1 Nature of Virtual Content
- Virtual Content has no real-world monetary value;
- Virtual Content is licensed to you, not owned;
- Virtual Content cannot be redeemed for cash or real-world value;
- Virtual Content exists solely within the Game.
Appcano LLC retains all rights to Virtual Content at all times.
4.2 Purchases
Virtual Content may be obtained by purchasing Coins or other in-game items through supported Platforms.
- All purchases are processed by the Platform you are using (e.g., Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Apple, Google);
- Appcano LLC does not process payments directly;
- You agree to comply with the Platform’s payment terms and policies.
4.3 No Refunds
All purchases of Virtual Content are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or the Platform’s refund policy.
- Refund requests must be made through the Platform provider;
- Appcano LLC does not provide refunds directly;
- You are not entitled to refunds for unused Virtual Content.
4.4 No Transfer or Trading
You may not:
- Sell, trade, gift, or transfer Virtual Content;
- Exchange Virtual Content for real-world money or value;
- Use third-party marketplaces or services to transfer Virtual Content.
Any attempt to do so may result in suspension or termination of your account.
4.5 Changes to Virtual Content
Appcano LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
- Modify, rebalance, or remove Virtual Content;
- Change pricing or availability of Coins or items;
- Add, remove, or replace items at any time.
You acknowledge that Virtual Content may change over time as part of ongoing game development.
4.6 No Guarantee of Availability
Virtual Content may be:
- Limited in availability;
- Time-restricted;
- Discontinued at any time.
Appcano LLC is not obligated to maintain the availability of any specific Virtual Content.
4.7 Loss of Virtual Content
You acknowledge that Virtual Content may be lost due to:
- Account suspension or termination;
- Technical issues or errors;
- Game updates or changes;
- Violations of these Terms.
Appcano LLC is not obligated to restore or compensate for lost Virtual Content, except where required by applicable law.
4.8 Subscriptions (If Applicable)
The Game may offer subscription-based services in the future.
- Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled;
- Subscription billing and cancellation are handled by the Platform;
- Additional terms may apply to subscriptions if introduced.
4.9 Promotions and Referral Programs
The Game may offer promotions, rewards, or referral programs that allow users to earn Coins or Virtual Content by completing certain actions, including sharing links, inviting other users, or participating in in-game activities.
You agree that:
- Such programs may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time;
- Rewards may be granted, withheld, or revoked at Appcano LLC’s sole discretion;
- Abuse, manipulation, or exploitation of promotional systems may result in removal of rewards and enforcement actions under these Terms.
5. UPDATES, CHANGES, AND SERVICE AVAILABILITY
The Game is a live, online service that may evolve over time. You acknowledge and agree that Appcano LLC may modify, update, or discontinue any part of the Game or Services at any time.
5.1 Service Availability
The Game is intended to be available on an ongoing basis, but Appcano LLC does not guarantee that the Game or Services will be available at all times.
- Access may be interrupted due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues;
- The Game may be unavailable in certain regions or on certain devices;
- Availability may depend on third-party platforms, networks, or services.
5.2 Maintenance and Downtime
Appcano LLC may perform scheduled or unscheduled maintenance at any time.
- Maintenance may result in temporary downtime or limited functionality;
- We are not required to provide advance notice of maintenance;
- We are not liable for any loss or disruption caused by maintenance.
5.3 Updates, Patches, and Modifications
Appcano LLC may deploy updates, patches, or modifications to the Game at any time.
- Updates may be required to continue accessing the Game;
- Updates may modify gameplay, features, mechanics, or content;
- Updates may remove or replace features, items, or functionality;
- Updates may be applied automatically without additional notice.
5.4 Changes to the Game
Appcano LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
- Modify or rebalance gameplay systems;
- Add, remove, or replace game modes, maps, features, or content;
- Change progression systems, rewards, or mechanics;
- Transition the Game’s business model (for example, introducing new monetization features).
You acknowledge that such changes are a normal part of a live service game.
5.5 Suspension or Discontinuation
Appcano LLC may suspend, restrict, or discontinue the Game or any part of the Services at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice.
- We may permanently shut down the Game or specific features;
- We are not obligated to continue supporting the Game indefinitely;
- We are not liable for any loss resulting from such actions.
5.6 Third-Party Dependencies
The Game relies on third-party platforms and services. Appcano LLC is not responsible for:
- Platform outages or restrictions (Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, etc.);
- Internet service provider issues;
- Device compatibility limitations;
- Third-party service failures.
6. ENFORCEMENT AND PENALTIES
Appcano LLC enforces these Terms to maintain a fair, safe, and competitive environment. You acknowledge that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to investigate and take action against any behavior that violates these Terms or negatively impacts the Game or Services.
6.1 Enforcement Actions
Appcano LLC may take one or more of the following actions in response to violations:
- Issue warnings;
- Temporarily restrict access to certain features;
- Suspend your account for a limited period;
- Permanently ban your account;
- Reset or modify in-game progression, rankings, or statistics;
- Remove Virtual Content, Coins, or items;
- Restrict matchmaking or access to specific game modes.
Enforcement actions may be applied immediately, without prior notice, depending on the severity of the violation.
6.2 Investigation Rights
Appcano LLC reserves the right to investigate suspected violations, including:
- Monitoring gameplay activity;
- Reviewing account behavior and activity logs;
- Analyzing interactions, communications, or system data;
- Using automated and manual detection systems to identify cheating or abuse.
You agree to cooperate with any such investigation.
6.3 No Obligation to Act
Appcano LLC is not obligated to take action against every violation. Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce them in the future.
6.4 No Refunds or Compensation
You are not entitled to any refunds, compensation, or restoration of Virtual Content in connection with enforcement actions, including account suspension or termination, except where required by applicable law.
6.5 Final Authority
All enforcement decisions are made at Appcano LLC’s sole discretion and are final, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
6.6 Circumvention Prohibited
You may not attempt to bypass or circumvent enforcement actions, including by:
- Creating new accounts after suspension or ban;
- Using alternate accounts or devices to avoid restrictions;
- Assisting others in avoiding enforcement actions.
Such behavior may result in additional penalties.
6.7 Severity and Repetition
Enforcement actions may be based on:
- The severity of the violation;
- Whether the violation is repeated;
- The impact on other players or the Game;
- Any prior history of violations.
Appcano LLC reserves the right to escalate penalties for repeated or severe violations.
7. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
The Game is distributed and accessed through third-party platforms, including but not limited to Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Epic Games Store, Apple, and Google (each, a "Platform"). Your use of the Game is subject to both these Terms and the applicable Platform terms.
7.1 Platform Relationship
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Platforms are independent third parties and are not owned or controlled by Appcano LLC;
- Appcano LLC is solely responsible for the Game and Services, except where Platform rules require otherwise;
- Platforms are not responsible for the Game’s content, functionality, or support.
7.2 Platform Terms and Policies
Your use of the Game must comply with all applicable Platform terms, policies, and rules.
- Platform providers may enforce their own terms independently;
- Violations of Platform terms may result in suspension or termination of your Platform Account;
- Platform actions may affect your ability to access the Game.
7.3 Platform Accounts and Access
Access to the Game requires a valid Platform Account.
- Platforms control authentication, account access, and account management;
- Appcano LLC does not have control over Platform Account status;
- Loss, suspension, or termination of your Platform Account may result in loss of access to the Game.
7.4 Platform Purchases and Billing
All purchases made through the Game are processed by the Platform you are using.
- Platforms handle payment processing, billing, and refunds;
- Appcano LLC does not process payments directly;
- Refund requests must be submitted to the Platform provider in accordance with its policies.
7.5 Platform Limitations and Availability
The Game’s availability and performance may depend on Platform capabilities and requirements.
- Certain features may vary by Platform;
- Not all features may be available on all Platforms;
- Platform-specific technical requirements may apply.
7.6 Platform Actions
Platforms may, at their sole discretion:
- Suspend or terminate your Platform Account;
- Restrict access to the Game;
- Enforce Platform-specific policies.
Appcano LLC is not responsible for any actions taken by Platforms.
7.7 Third-Party Services
The Game may rely on third-party services (such as servers, matchmaking systems, or analytics providers).
- These services are outside of Appcano LLC’s direct control;
- Interruptions or failures of third-party services may affect gameplay;
- Appcano LLC is not liable for issues caused by third-party services.
8. PRIVACY AND DATA
Your privacy is important to Appcano LLC. This Section explains how data may be collected and used in connection with the Game. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8.1 Privacy Policy
Your use of the Game is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes:
- What information we collect;
- How we use and protect that information;
- Your rights and choices regarding your data.
By using the Game, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
8.2 Data Collection and Use
Appcano LLC may collect and use information related to your use of the Game, including:
- Gameplay activity and performance data;
- Device, system, and technical information;
- Account identifiers associated with your Platform;
- Interaction data within the Game.
This information is used to:
- Operate and maintain the Game;
- Improve gameplay, features, and performance;
- Detect, prevent, and enforce against cheating, fraud, and abuse;
- Ensure security and integrity of the Services.
8.3 Analytics and Third-Party Services
The Game may use third-party analytics and service providers (such as Firebase, Unity Analytics, or similar tools) to:
- Analyze gameplay trends and usage;
- Monitor performance and stability;
- Improve user experience.
These third-party providers may collect and process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
8.4 Monitoring and Enforcement
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Appcano LLC may monitor gameplay activity and system interactions to:
- Detect cheating, exploits, or unauthorized software;
- Investigate violations of these Terms;
- Maintain a fair and secure environment.
Such monitoring may include automated systems and manual review.
8.5 Communications and Content
If the Game includes communication features (such as text chat or future features), Appcano LLC may monitor, review, and take action on such communications in accordance with these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
8.6 Data Security
Appcano LLC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
8.7 International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your residence, including the United States, where data protection laws may differ.
8.8 Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account and device;
- Avoiding sharing personal or sensitive information with other users;
- Complying with applicable privacy and data protection laws when using the Game.
9. TERMINATION
You acknowledge and agree that your access to the Game and Services may be terminated or restricted at any time, as described in these Terms and the EULA.
9.1 Termination by Appcano LLC
Appcano LLC may, at its sole discretion, suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Game or Services at any time, with or without notice, including but not limited to if:
- You violate these Terms, the EULA, or any applicable policies;
- You engage in cheating, fraud, or abusive behavior;
- Your Platform Account is suspended or terminated;
- We are required to do so for legal or regulatory reasons;
- We discontinue the Game or any part of the Services.
9.2 Termination by You
You may stop using the Game at any time by:
- Uninstalling the Game;
- Discontinuing access to the Services;
- Closing or deleting your Platform Account, where applicable.
9.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination or suspension of your access:
- Your right to use the Game and Services will immediately end;
- You may lose access to your account, progress, Coins, and Virtual Content;
- Appcano LLC may delete or disable your account and related data, subject to applicable law.
You acknowledge that you are not entitled to any compensation or reimbursement for any loss resulting from termination.
9.4 No Refunds
Termination or suspension of your account does not entitle you to any refund of Virtual Content, Coins, or purchases, except where required by applicable law or Platform policies.
9.5 Survival
Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including but not limited to provisions relating to enforcement, limitations of liability, dispute resolution, and ownership.
10. DISPUTES AND ARBITRATION (SUMMARY)
This Section provides a general overview of how disputes between you and Appcano LLC are handled. Detailed dispute resolution terms, including binding arbitration, are set forth in the EULA.
10.1 Agreement to Resolve Disputes
By using the Game or Services, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to:
- These Terms;
- The Game or Services;
- Your use of the Game;
- Any relationship between you and Appcano LLC;
will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures described in the EULA.
10.2 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting Appcano LLC at hello@playonemap.com.
- You must provide a written description of the issue;
- Both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith;
- Informal resolution is required before proceeding to arbitration, where permitted by law.
10.3 Binding Arbitration
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, disputes will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, as described in the EULA.
10.4 Class Action Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that:
- Disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only;
- You waive the right to participate in any class action or representative proceeding.
10.5 Exceptions
Nothing in this Section prevents either party from:
- Bringing an individual claim in small claims court (if eligible);
- Seeking injunctive or equitable relief for intellectual property violations or misuse of the Game.
10.6 Controlling Terms
In the event of any conflict between this Section and the dispute resolution provisions in the EULA, the EULA will control.
11. MODIFICATIONS TO THESE TERMS
Appcano LLC may update, modify, or revise these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion, to reflect changes to the Game, Services, legal requirements, or business practices.
11.1 Updates to the Terms
